Institutions product placement

Magazines are publications, generally published on a regular schedule, containing a variety of articles, generally financed by advertising, by a purchase price, by pre-paid magazine subscriptions, or all three.

Current magazines are generally available at bookstores, newsstands and supermarkets, while subscribers can receive them in the mail. Some magazines are also published on the internet and many online magazines are available both on the internet and in hard copy. Most magazines are available nationally but people can subscribe/buy internationally too.

The graphs show different music magazines, mostly evolved around rock music, and show the statistics of Jan-Jun in 2007 and 2008 to compare the sales. The information shows that most of the magazine sales have fallen over the year with “The Fly” and “Uncut” being the only magazines that have increased sales. However I have researched “The Fly” and have found out that is a free magazine and that is why the sales are higher than the others where you have to but them. I think the decrease is due to an increase in the use of the internet. People can surf on the internet to get information about music using websites the magazines have created for the audience so making people not needing to buy the magazines. This means they get entertainment through sitting at home then going out to buy a magazine.

I would like mine to be available in newsagents, supermarkets, shops and also music stores like HMV. Because it is a music magazine I feel it would apply to audience, who like music, in the shop. Also I would let mine be available to subscribe too, for people who enjoy the music magazine and for those nationally.
I got the tables from the following website:
