I started with contents and front cover plan, where I drew spider diagrams full of ideas of what to include in each. I have come to the conclusion that for my contents page I will include:
Numbered features so that the audience will know where to look for them
The colours will be the same as the house style (blue, red, white and black)
I will use formal language with quotes being slang and up beat.
The pictures will relate to the features that I think will be more popular.
For my front cover I have now decided on the name: “Whole Lotta’ Rock”, with it being able to be shortened to “WLR”. I have also chosen the font, colours and backgrounds of both the magazine title and logo.
For the double page spread after considering a lot of ideas and asking my friends I have decided to come up with an article of my own. An interview of my own made up band that will be extremely famous.
I will take pictures of my new band, who will be my friends dressed up and ask them a series of questions to make it an interview but also informative with their music facts or a “Top 5 Songs” feature at the corner of it.
